Founder + Director, Roger Beeston's journey to becoming a built heritage conservation architect began growing up in the gold rush town of Castlemaine. It gained momentum at architecture school when the opportunity arose to visit India and work on the World Heritage site, Vijayanagar.
Roger undertook a 7-year apprenticeship with Peter Lovell, where he cut his teeth on significant heritage projects such as the restoration of the Athenaeum Theatre and the Fitzroy Town Hall and designed extensions to the Yering Station Winery and the official residence of the Governor General in Canberra, Yarralumla.
Roger has been a pioneer of the field of Conservation Architecture as it has evolved from mainstream architecture in Australia.
