Architecture has been a life-long interest of Margaret’s, having visited, admired, designed and illustrated numerous homes as well as unusual and ancient structures throughout her school years, tertiary education and travels. Early careers included the application of graphic design, technical illustration and information technology skills, before Margaret’s discovery of heritage architecture and conservation.

Margaret has been employed at RBA Architects + Conservation Consultants since 2007, working on many diverse projects and being involved in most aspects of the practice, including architectural conservation, consultation, historical research, management and mentoring. Of particular interest to Margaret is attempting to solve historical enigmas of places, researching original materials and fabrics and witnessing early technologies being reapplied.
